Education: Associates Degree from a professional nursing program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed by the applicant.

Experience:
The RN must have 2-years clinical experience in a critical care adult medical-surgical ICU in the last 5-years. The RN must be able to manage ventilated, hemodynamically unstable patient, including monitoring arterial, CVP, and Swan-Ganz lines. The RN must be able to titrate multiple vasopressor, paralytic, sedative-analgesic, and/or anti-arrhythmic medications simultaneously. Be knowledgeable in post-operative recovery processes.

• Etoh W/D-Propofol, Ativan, Versed, Fentanyl, Morphine & ventilated
• Invasive lines
• Telemetry monitoring from the floor

Equipment:
• Nihon-Khoden monitors
• Alaris IVAC pumps
• Hill-Rom beds
• Viasys ventilators

Licensure: Must possess and maintain current State licensure while employed.
Certifications (MANDATORY):
• A valid and unrestricted State Nursing License (Expiration date cannot expire during the contract period).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Optional: favorable certifications:
Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS)
Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC)
Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN)
