We are on the hunt for a hands-on nurse director with the ability to coach and mentor others. A keen business sense and experience with orthopedics are also a plus to join this physician owned free standing ASC located in the highly desirable suburbs in the Chicagoland area.

With more than 30 years of history this growing center is not part of any hospital or chain of ambulatory surgery centers. They have recently expanded and now operate 4 state of the art surgical suites with a stable staff of 25 FTE?s including two supervisors.

The Director of Nursing will report directly to the Center's CEO and have the pleasure of working side by side with many of the areas top surgeons.

REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate will be:
? RN with BSN
? Licensed in the State of Illinois or is eligible.
? Have 2-4 years experience in managing an ASC or inpatient surgery department.
The successful candidate will have the following attributes:
? Leadership ability; outstanding people and interpersonal skills
? Knowledge of ASC patient care areas, equipment, staffing, finance and billing, reimbursement and receivables management
? Ability to work in partnership with M.D.?s
