Community based hospital system, not for profit! This is a 250 bed hospital with newly renovated Emergency Services System. Financially stable with plans to go to magnet status this coming year.
The Director of Surgical Services will oversee the operations of 8 suites, PACU , Central Sterile, Pre-Admission Testing, and Pain Management Services.
There are 70 FTE?s reporting with clinical coordinators and OR Nurse Manager in place. The Director will report to a CNO who has grown within the 2 hospital system.
Ideal candidate must have BSN, CNOR Masters desired. 5-8 years of management experience in the Surgical Services Department.
Prior union experience helpful! Goals of the department are to stabilize staffing levels, and analyze turn over times in the rooms.
Salary is based on experience, starting in the high 90?s with relocation assistance offered.
