Nurse Manager of ICU

Our client hospital has asked us to seek out the very best in critical care management talent??someone with new ideas, the ability to make things happen, a hands-on leader who will use his/her maturity and good business skills to be a change agent for their combined SICU and MICU of 14 beds, but growing to 20 with 60 FTE?s.

The nurse manager selected for this role will report directly to the Director of Patient Care Services/CNO making it much like a director level position in other organizations.

The successful candidate will:

 Have a BSN with a Master?s a real plus
 Have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in ICU and/or Critical Care
 Have 5 years experience as a manager/leader
 ACLS and CCRN

The manager will enjoy:

 A stable staff with more than an average of five years tenure
 A highly collegial relationship with the other managers who impact ICU?.ED, Med/Surg, and OR
 A great boss who wears scrubs, has an informal style, and is highly visible in an out and about hands on supportive way
