The Director, Clinical Services reports to the Facility Director and serves as an important member of the Senior Management Team. The Director, Clinical Services is a Masters Level CADC professional preferably licensed as a LCSW, LCPC who is responsible for the overall leadership, management and supervision of the clinical programs at Southwood Interventions.
The Director, Clinical Services is responsible for overseeing both assessment and treatment services to include: evaluation of the effectiveness of treatment services utilizing evidence based practices to improve outcomes, milieu treatment services, individual and group therapy, family therapy, behavior management and crisis intervention, case management services, recreational services, community services, referral services, post-placement services and any other clinical services as deemed appropriate.
The Director, Clinical Services is responsible for providing direct supervision to the Treatment Supervisors, Recreational Therapists, ARCH Homelessness Program and all Quality Improvement/ Performance Improvement meetings and activities. Leads the team in all Joint Commission preparations and surveys as well as leads the agency in all audits.
MAKING A DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF YOUTH, ADULTS AND FAMILIES
Minimum Requirements
Masters degree in social work or related field and CADC or CRADC/CSADC/CAADC certification through IAODAPCA. MUST also have one of the following valid licenses LCSW or LCPC. LCSW is preferred over the LCPC.
5 years clinical experience
3 years supervisory experience
At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
Completion of a criminal record check, and a signed declaration regarding any prior criminal conviction and military history.
Summary:

The Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing both assessment and intervention services to include: psychological evaluations, milieu treatment services, individual and group therapy, family therapy, behavior management and crisis intervention, case management services, medical services, recreational services, community services, referral services, post-placement services and any other clinical services as deemed appropriate. The Clinical Director is responsible for providing direct supervision to the Treatment Supervisors, Clinical Therapists, and administrative supervision of the Nurse Health Administrator.
Minimum Requirements
Psychologist Ph.D or Psy. D. licensed OR
LCSW MSW plus two (2) years supervised experience OR
MA in psychology plus two (2) years mental health experience.
At least twenty-one (21) years of age.
Under the supervision of an experienced professional who is at least twenty-one (21) if between the ages of eighteen (18) and twenty-one (21).
Confirmation of screening for substantiated reports of child abuse or neglect.
Completion of a criminal record check, and a signed declaration regarding any prior criminal conviction and military history.
