System Director Perioperative Services - Oversee 2 Hospitals

Provide clinical practice leadership for the operation of specified patient services department within the organization dedicated to the care of assigned patient population.
Direct clinical practice, coordinate patient service delivery, educate and develop staff, control budgets and manage the work environment.
Serve as a resource for interdisciplinary divisions within the hospital.
The System PeriOperative Service is responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing of the operations and staff, clinical and nonclinical, of the PeriOperative. The patient transitions include preoperatively, intraoperatively, and postoperatively for inpatient and outpatient surgical services, post anesthesia care unit, central sterile, teaching and infusion. Requirements-
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience
Current RN Licensure
Minimum 5 years progressively responsible experience
ACLS certification within 90 days of hire
PALS certification within 90 days of hire
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
